Current Plan: OPT for Fat Loss. Yes, the page reads like an infomercial, but Leigh Peele's Fat Loss Troubleshoot is very well written and knowledgeable.

Mini-goals to hit this Summer:

1. Run (no walking!) 3mi Cascade Run Off 7/27/08 in the Athena special division
2. Hit 199 pounds!

Hooray for a new year! I've started a new personal improvement blog to track my progress more closely. "Make It So!"

2007 accomplishments:

Lost 21 pounds including (It looks like I petered out about May)
* -3.5 inches on my hips
* -3.5 inches on my waist
* -1 inch on my chest
Took Aerobics classes most of the year
* Dance 'n Fit - Dancing aerobics and a little resistance band work.
* Boot Camp - much better, no thinking involved, lots of weight work but bad on my knees.
Started running
* Ran a 5k race in June
* Ran 79.87 miles in 2007

Running, running, running like a fool. Well, sloooooow running. It does a body good! Pondering signing up for a 10 week beginning running course that starts in Jan, for a 5k on Mar 16. You have to be able to run a mile... we'll see how I progress! Going to go for runs at lunch a few times a week as it is dark outside otherwise. Boss okay'd it as long as i work earlier/later :) Too bad work is in the effing hills. I'm getting really tired of hills.

Try to jump start the working out this week by working out every day. I've made it through Wednesday, 4 days!

Long time, no loss! My body has rebelled against me. First there was the vertigo for a month, then my plantar fibromatosis flared up again. Basically I have these benign lumps of tissue that grow in my plantar fascia in the arch of my foot. Currently the one of the left is about the size of a large squashed garbanzo bean. Physical therapy has not been working this time so I suspect I will be getting orthodics soon. The fibromas make walking painful a lot. I stretch out my feet and calves many times a day but it won't loosen up. *mumble*

Why do I get all the weird conditions??? I'm too young to be this crotchety.

I hit -20 lbs today! Yay! After work today I will walk to downtown Portland (about 2 miles) and pick up my nano and accessories.

Goals:
224 lbs - my -20 lbs goal. Reward: iPod Nano and Nike plus !
199 lbs - because its less than 200! Reward: weekend at the beach with my sweetie
191 lbs - BMI of 29.9, moves me from Obese to Overweight BMI
159 lbs - BMI of 24.9, moves me from Overweight to Normal BMI
140 lbs - Goal weight, BMI of 21.9. Just a guess. I have no idea if this number will be right for me. Not sure what I will look like!
